MALAYSIA: More Baby Hatches from OrphanCare

OrphanCare plans to set up two more baby hatches by November after the success of its initial program.  The organization introduced the baby hatch in May 2010 to address the growing number of baby dumping cases in Malaysia.  Couples or unmarried mothers can anonymously leave their babies in these baby hatches.  To date, three babies left in the first baby hatch have found new homes.  Forty eight other babies who were left to OrphanCare by their biological parents have also been adopted by foster families.
