UN Is Considering To Recognize Sexual Rights for Ten-Year-Olds

The United Nations Commission on Population and Development (CPD) is considering “sexual and reproductive health and rights” for children as young as ten.  UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon throws in his agreement by stating that “Young people, as much as all people, share the human right to health, including sexual and reproductive health.”  The association of this right with the youth by the Secretary General and the CPD, especially children, is made more controversial since the right could be defined as including access to abortion and contraception.
